Knit a Little, Knit a Little More
After visiting Kelly J at YLS, she set me up with lace needles. Oh the difference was worth all of their Addi Turbo wonderfulness! The tips are pointier and really help with the crazy purling of the K1, YO, K1, YO, K1 all together! While I was there though I decided that I needed to rip it out and begin again. This was the right decision. Now that I am getting the hang of things I would not want the crappy begining to taint the rest of the shawl. It is small, but I am happy. Of course I may have to change this from my "I'm Going to France!" scarf to Thing 2 is graduating from high school or college! Working with this silk feels w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l when I am not cussing it out.
As a break I have begun a square to be contributed to a challenge between YLS and The Yarn Garden.
After drinking a mug (don't judge me!) of wine, knitting lace is not a good idea. I will just eat the cookie dough in the fridge and add afew couple of rows tomorrow.
